Most investors rely on ESG data sets that update quarterly or annually, missing important real-time cues that alert them to important changes in the ESG landscape. Commercial ESG data sets are all “programmed” the same way – serving up data organized into hard-wired frameworks that were designed ages ago, with a bias towards illuminating risk, not identifying opportunities.
